Corrections, questions from instructors and requests to reuse the drawings.

Updated

Email support@boatanatomy.com. Corrections, questions from instructors and notes on where the drawings are used all go to this one address.

What to include

  • The page address, and which drawing, part or sentence you mean. A part's callout number on the drawing helps.
  • For a correction, a source for the right answer if you have one: a regulation, a boating-course text, a naval-architecture reference or a dictionary.
  • For a page that looks wrong on screen, your device and browser, and whether you had it in light or dark mode.

Drawings are corrected in the data they are made from, so a fix to one hull changes every view of it at once.

Who you are writing to

Boat Anatomy is made by one person, a boat enthusiast from India, and messages come straight to me. About says what the site is and who it is for.

I can't advise on a particular boat: whether to buy it, or how to load, handle, change or repair it. A marine surveyor, the builder or a boating instructor can. The site names no brands, so it cannot take sponsored posts or product listings.

Reusing the drawings

You do not need permission to reuse the drawings; the licence already allows it with credit. I am still glad to hear where they are used.
